Norwegian researchers have found that the country is far better than other countries when it comes to the quality of its overseas study experience.
In a new study, published in the journal International Journal of Social Science Research, Norwegians were asked how satisfied they were with their study experience in different countries.
“Norway is the most satisfied with their university study abroad experience, and that’s probably because it’s one of the best places in the world to study,” lead researcher Dr. Johan Bjork told The Associated Press.
“The best study abroad experiences, especially the ones that are open to foreigners, are the ones where we have the best support from the university, where we are taught how to do the job, where there’s a good support system,” he said.
“And if you have a lot of support from your family, that’s the one thing you really need.”
Norway has a population of about 3.6 million people.
