The Syracuse Crunch’s Jordan DIX was on the ice for a scrimmage of the US National Development Team on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old forward, who will play for the US NTDP in the summer, skated with Syracuse’s team for the first time in three days on Tuesday morning.
The Crunch will play their first game against the Washington Capitals at the XL Center in New York on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Dix, a 6-foot-3, 196-pound native of St. John’s, N.L., has registered four goals and six assists in six games with Syracuse this season.
He also has four points (2 goals, 2 assists) in three games for the Crunch this season, including two goals and three assists in a 5-4 overtime loss to the University of New Hampshire on Nov. 27.
He was the first player to be called up to the NTDP since the team was formed in 2007.
Dix was originally selected by the Crunch in the third round (130th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
He signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Crunch on Feb. 18, 2019.
Syracuse plays host to the Washington Wizards in the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Wednesday night.
