The U. S. Study abroad program was designed to help students study abroad and study abroad at the same time.
Since 2001, there have been more than 500,000 students from 35 countries studying abroad each year, according to a 2016 report by the U,S.
Department of State.
A large portion of these students are in Asia.
In 2017, the U-M’s program offered about 2,600 students in China, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Australia the chance to study abroad.

For example, students in Vietnam are ineligible for Pell Grants because of a lack of access to college credit, which is why the U and the U.-S.
State Department have begun to establish the Program for International Education to provide more financial support for international students who cannot afford college.
The U-s study abroad Program was established in 2017.
Under the Program, students have to meet one of two criteria to receive financial assistance: either they are enrolled in a U. of S.-supported school or a U-school is their primary school.
Students must be able to complete two-thirds of the required four-year degree requirements before they can apply.
Students who are not in a school are automatically ineligible to apply.

Where can I find the U’s study abroad application?
The U’s program is administered by the State Department and is accessible on the State’s website.
Students have to register with the State to apply for a U degree or a C.A. degree.
Students have to complete the application and pay an application fee, which can range from $200 to $2,000 depending on the number of years you have studied abroad.

What are the main requirements for a student to enroll in the Program?
To be eligible to study in the program, students must have a bachelor’s degree in U. s. studies and be enrolled in an approved school.
A U. student who wants to study overseas must have completed at least one semester of high school in the United States and be 18 years of age or older.
Students are eligible for an accelerated program for an additional two semesters, and are ineligible if they have not completed two semester of high-school in the State.
Once you have completed two or more semesters of high schooling in the States, students will be considered for the program.
The four- year degree requirement for the U program is four years of undergraduate college, plus at least two years of graduate school.
If a student wants to attend a program in a foreign country other than the United State, they must be enrolled full-time in the academic year.
Students also must complete the U study abroad internship program, which consists of four weeks of internship work and one week of course work in the school of study in their chosen country.
