A student studying abroad can earn anywhere from $150 to $180 per semester, according to the online learning service Udemy, which has partnered with U.S. employers to help students pay for school.
The company has partnered up with employers to provide students with scholarships and loan repayment assistance.
Students in the United States, Canada and Australia can earn up to $150 per semester abroad, according the website.
While this is a huge increase compared to what students typically earn in the U.K. or Australia, there are some caveats.
While a student can earn $180,000 per year overseas, they’ll need to work at least 20 hours per week, spend at least $150 a week, and have a minimum of $30,000 to cover expenses, according, the site.
For example, a first-year U.N. student studying in Australia needs to work for 10 hours a week for five months before she can claim her $100,000 grant.
Another major caveat is that students can only earn up or down from the maximum they could earn at home.
For instance, a second-year Canadian studying in France must earn at least 25 per cent of their total salary to claim the $100 million grant.
